Part 1: Software to replace ACO-level Quality Reporting
Since each Member TIN stands alone for MIPS (starting in 2021), Our MACRA Monitor service supports every Member TIN, regardless of their EHR capabilities. Throughout the year, we share analysis of strengths and weaknesses. At year end, our tools manage submission for your Members.
Part 2: Clinic Concierge Experts
We meet with your member clinics about MACRA. For some clients, we do this weekly. For others it is monthly or quarterly - all your choice. But in all cases you see the results in real time.
The result is that we help and coach each clinic on what they need to do, and what they need to know, and what is the result of their actions on everyone.
Part 3: MACRA Monitor's ACO Peer Review Dashboard captures, evaluates, and communicates MACRA content throughout the year, so everyone can pitch in to improve MCS and Medicare Reimbursement timely enough to make a difference. And just to make it easier, our Concierge service can easily be your proxy in supporting your clinics.
Just imagine, what it would be like, if every clinic in your ACO could understand their financial and operational achievements, compared against the targets you set!
Part 4: Financial Analyses - know the MACRA-side financial impact of your decisions to take on a new glide path under the 2019 ACO regulations. Our software analyzes for you the impact of Advanced APM (two-sided risk) vs Options A,B, and C, and compares those options to what would happen to Medicare Revenues for all your clinics by exiting the ACO program altogether.
In the 2021 MACRA Rule, CMS announced the sunset of the MIPS APM Scoring method.
This means that every TIN that is a member of an ACO will earn their own MIPS scoresfor 2021! Here's how it breaks down:
MACRA Monitor's software and concierge services can make this easy for all ACO Members.
In the process, our ACO clients will know their MACRA scores throughout the year.
Compare that to what you knew last year, and when you knew it. Now, imagine how powerful it might be to know your MACRA PI and CQM all year long?
Total points you can earn on a given quality measure depend on more than just the performance rate you achieve. We are all aware of measures with a 7 point cap. But did you know that a lot of measures have a practical maximum of much lower than 7 points?
On some measures, a perfect score will give you a 10, or a 7 for topped out measures. But some measures will have a practical cap that falls well short of even a 7 point score. In fact, 121 of 243 available MIPS Measures (excluding QCDR) fall short of 7 points.
Choose wisely!
CMS defined the APP (APM Performance Pathway) for ACOs. But the APP is a fixed set of three CQMs that won't be right for everyone.
Under 2021 Regulations, any provider ... whether ACO or not ... can choose their own set of six measures.
Forcing providers into the APP set, or Web Interface set, could hurt MACRA Reimbursement. Remember - it is just one option for TINs.
Improving MACRA Metrics comes from a regular program, throughout the year. We get started as soon as a full month's data is available, and follow a regimen of extract, report, analyze and plan and act for every month thereafter.
