From understanding each TINs MACRA ACO eligibility classification, to provider count, PI and CQM scores to knowing the status of the most current communication with each TIN, this level of organization makes your MACRA optimization team incredibly efficient.
For most providers, this means using Ambulatory-Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT). Although this is really not difficult, many provider groups will need a little help.
For hospital-based providers, the result is a little more difficult and costly. Under MACRA, CQMs can only be submitted using software Certified by CMS. Absent CEHRT (and hospital EHR does not qualify), providers will need to contract with a Certified Registry or QCDR. These contracts should be in place at or near the beginning of the reporting year.
Just imagine if you had, at your fingertips, the CQM and PI status of every TIN.
You would not waste time "optimizing" high performers. For sub-par performance, you can further prioritize activity based on TIN provider count. At a glance.
