Introduction to what is new in 2024, and what are your new Quality Reporting requirements
There are new ACO Quality Reporting standards for 2024 and beyond. Providers will need to generate a new type of report, called QRDA-I. We will walk you through a test period to generate the new content and get it loaded to the UCMC database.
Once your testing phase is completed, you will need to provide quality data to the ACO for every calendar quarter.
QRDA-I is a quality reporting file format that will send patient-level encounters to the ACO. This is a new process to the ACO, to you and probably to your EHR vendors. Your EHR should be able to provide this, but our first step will be to verify with them that this is possible, and obtain their instructions on how to do so.
Once you have verified that you can generate the correct files, the ACO will give you credentials into a secure portal where you will upload files regularly. In your initial test phase we will evaluate whether your EHR generates content that works in our systems. You will go through a verification process, which may require making adjustments to the content or format of your standard reporting. Once validated and in production, you will be able to submit ongoing data according to a pre-set schedule.
Everyone loves to achieve high quality! Once the ACO has been able to process your QRDA-I file, the C3 team will work with you to review the results. We look for accuracy and completeness first, then focus on how the data helps us find areas for improvement.
